  Drinking alcohol doesn't make once an alcoholic! Infact drinking alcohol every night like 1 bottle of beer or 2 glasses of wine a night doesn't make one an alcoholic. It's better than some one who drinks once a week and guggle down 4 bottles at a go. If his dad was an alcoholic he wouldn't even be able to work at the judicial service in those days. Our Christian brothers and sister think small drink is sinful and chastise people. Be proud of your father and all he did. I'm sure there are better things to say about him.

  Truth well said, my father was a chain 'wee' smoker but he was the most honest man I have known. He declined a chieftaincy role because he feared he will be 'killed' by his kinsmen. And till today I neither smoke nor sniff any hard substance. Ghanaians must change their orientations, the environment demonise anyone who is an alcoholic or a chain smoker even if they have 'special' abilities in them.
