There is too much attention paid to being a "celebrity".So when someone with notiriety "converts" to become a "Christisn" the first thing they do is to replace their previous secular high profile with a religious high profile job or position such as an "evangelist" ,"pastor" or "prophet". Somehow there is this widespread belief that if someone previously well known becomes a believer that somehow that automatically elevates them to a higher level of spirituality.Many quickly go into the ministry even though the Bible clearly advices that new converts should not be permitted to hold high religious office until they have sufficiently demonstrated significant levels of spiritual maturity - which can take years.
