  As a past student of this university i think it’s about time this great institution get rid of some courses, like fashion, sculpture, textiles and home economics. Those of us who travelled abroad later got to know this courses didn’t have any future. I met some of my mates abroad and they all regretted studying such stupid courses with high fees. Whiles other country is advancing in technology we are still studying textiles as a course in universities.Some of my mates went as far as doing masters degree in textiles and after completing couldn’t get any jobs in such field and they ended up soliciting money from some of us in abroad. All the university wants is to fill the lecture rooms with students who will cover the day to day cost of the university without thinking about their future. I feel sorry for all these students who are still been misled to learn fashion, textiles, sculpture and food science as a course.
