  This lady is a criminal. In some communities in Ghana rich criminals are revered and it should not surprise anyone that this lady is in the good books of many Ghanaians. Kleptocrats in the political arena are respected. Scammers enjoy social reverence and the overstaffed panel of "Men of God" who go harvesting without having planted any seed enjoy special status in Ghana.

What makes you think it's not right to sentence a scammer to prison for scamming folks out of their life savings? many of her victims are retired and can't make any savings to to replace what they've lost. You own a business. How will you like to see an employee of yours steal millions of cedis from your club and not get get sent to prison? Only crooks are saddened by that scammer's prison sentence.
