The prosecutors don't need anymore evidence. He has incriminated himself. This is his own words- Confession coming out from his own mouth and is enough to charge him and put him in jail

If someone openly, not forced like this guy Confessed to an undercover officer that he had committed a murder on this day and date and it was true that someone disappeared on that day, his confession alone is enough to charge him even if there's no dead body. And what makes this guy's situation easy is that his own wife knew about it and she could be charge as an Accessory or unless she strikes a deal with the prosecutors to be their witness. Also This guy gave too much information by naming the girl, her parents, where she came from etc. The laws of Ghana is if you're found or Confessed to sleeping with a minor ( not only rape) under the age of 18 whether she agreed or not, you are GUILTY
