Having Diabetes or Blood Pressure which are untreated or poorly controlled/managed can eventually lead to the following severe consequences :
1.Heart disease
2.Kidney disease and kidney failure
3.Stroke
4.Linked to Dementia
5.Linked to some cancers
ALL THE ABOVE CONTRIBUTE TO AN EARLY DEATH.
On the positive side the following actions can greatly reduce or even eliminate the above deadly risks.
1.Losing weight if you are OBESE or OVERWEIGHT (look up the precise meaning of these terms) will in most cases greatly improve the above risks
2.Eating a healthy balanced diet.
3.Regular exercise- just walking 2 miles a day can make a huge difference to ones health and sense of wellbeing
4.Doing REGULAR NIGHT SHIFTS, LONG -TERM SLEEP DEPRIVATION (less than 7 hours a day ) are linked to obesity or at least being overweight, blood pressure , type 2 diabetes ,infertility and the above issues mentioned by the good doctor. Don't harm or even kill yourself trying to earn more money. Your productivity and ability to think steadily wanes with long-term lack of sleep. Chronic (long-term) Sleep Deprivation is also linked to a variety of mental health issues including DEPRESSION
Night workers ,particularly those living in temperate climates (abroad) are also prone to VITAMIN D DEFICIENCY during the winter months which in turn is linked to all of the problems listed above.
