Please check who his friends are now. Find out if he is not doing drugs too. Check also what he spends time doing in private ...be on the lookout for porn, gangsterism, spiritism, etc.

Control him, don't allow him to be out for many hours. Or the best is to prevent him from having friends and let him stick to books like a tick.
