  The company you keep can seriously affect your future prospects.This is true starting in secondary school but continues into adulthood.
  If the people you hang out with are only interested in wasting hours watching films,TV Soaps, playing games, visiting night clubs,chasing girls or boys ,surfing the internet/social media instead of studying hard and planning carefully for the future then you can only expect failure.
  Young people only have so much time to prepare . Few young folk including their parents realize that the fates of most people is determined by how serious they took their studies and how they developed their character between the ages of 12 and 17 years.After that few can make the changes that are required to succeed in life because their personality woul have set by then.So parents pay particular attention to how your children are developing during this critical age group and infact even before the age of 12 years. Are you setting a good example for them to follow? Are ou teaching them the values of hard work,honesty,integrity, perseverence and Godliness or are you so busy with your own life ,your own persuits and enjoyment that you are letting them grow "free-range"? This most important task is best undertaken jointly by a father and mother who are providing a safe ,nurturing environment UNDR THE SAME ROOF. If parents don't influence their children in a positive and constructive way then the internet,social media and their friends will enthusiastically take on this job with disastrous consequences for all concerned.
