There is the need for diversification in the Ghanaian music industry but Ghana should have one music identity that is recognized internationally and that is our highlife . If this music is to go global then there is the need to sing in other languages besides our local dialects incorporating English as well so that most people will understand the music. Just like the Congo type of music is affiliated with most of the Eastern African countries and French speaking west African countries , our Ghanaian highlife must be seen in that light
