Per Islamic law, your father can only reject your suitor when it has something to with his character or religion. Beyond this your dad has no right on anything else especially considering the fact that you are above the legal age which is 21 or so.
You can go ahead and marry someone of a sound character and ignore your dad, it seems your dad has developed a mental problem, which is very normal in his case.
