Mzbel, though alcohol and cigarettes are widely used by society, they are known to be hazardous to one's health, it makes sense for a government to want strictly regulate their ability to advertise. Celebrities are looking for ways to make side incomes while the government is set on protecting the lives of the public. Furthermore, celebrities often have a great influence on people, and folks are very likely to think it's safe to consume alcohol just because it's being pushed by a celebrity. It's the government that has to shoulder the responsibility of addressing alcoholism and its side effects on society, not celebrities who make money advertising alcohol.
