For a Phd. holder to live a good life depends on the economy in which he or she lives in.
I had a friend who died in 2015, he was an engineer, wealth his qualification, but could not get a job, he tried to establish his own company, but there were no banks to assist him. There are a lot of Phd. qualifications that demand that you work with state institutions or private companies and not on your own.
Of course, if everyone is to sell in a kiosk there will be no customers.
