Deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.
1. my advise is that parents must ensure the safety of the kids at all time when in a car with them. toddlers must be strapped in their special in-car seats in a proper position at the back seat.
2. And our celebs must be law abiding and do the right thing at all times, regardless.
Lets all be safety conscious on our roads. We need one another alive to function as a people.
May the soul of this young man rest in perfect peace.
thank you

Gradually Liwin is growing wings with little success he is choping. He is becoming arrogant and lawless. As much as the child's father bear the responsibility of not buckling the the little boy at the back seat, I think Liwin must be remanded in prison for manslaughter. If it were to be an ordinary trotro or taxi driver he would he would have been in police cells. Livin

Most of Ghanaian parents don't buckle up their children in the car. They think it is fashionable that the children are all about in the car without seat belts. The seat belts are there for a reason.

Charle Yaa Brefo is right. From what the child grandmama said, the two twins were giving their currently pregnant mom a hard time that day. Which is what prompted mr. Ampomah to take Tawiah with him to go collect his clothes from his taylor. Maybe in the haste of things, he forgot to take the car seat and buckle up the child. And even so, it is against the law to put a child in the front seat of a car. It was an accident and sad very to loose a child in such a terrible way but Mr. Ampomah was buckled up and survived so his own negligence was a factor. We cannot discount that just because the accident involves a celebrity and we hate celebrities and success. May the child rest in peace.

@Joy, yes the back seat may be safer depending on the situation. If at the back seat and well buckled, it is safer than being in the front seat

Place your 3-year old kid at a front seat anywhere in Europe and see the fine you'll pay.
Infact, in Germany, children of that age or less than 1.10m MUST seated at the back row, seated on extra styropor seat for children PLUS everybody in the vehicle MUST have seat belt on.
Again, when children are seated at the front row, any impact may cause them to hit the very hard dashboar or even the windscreen. When they are seated at the back seat, the impact is less because they hit the back of the front seat which are cushion covered by uhholstry material.
So you see the difference and the reason why european police will not allow you place kids on the front row.

IN FACT, IN GERMANY IT IS PUNISHABLE (FINE) IF A PARENT PLACES THE KIDS AT THE FRONT SEAT WITH OR WITHOUT STYROPOR SEATS OR AT THE BACK SEAT WITHOUT THE STYROPOR SEATS.

Look let me tell you: not until my kids were 12 years old, none of the ever sat at the front seat. They always sat at the back row and EVERYBODY IN THE CAR MUST PUT ON THE SEAT BELT - EVERYBODY, NOT ONLY THE DRIVER.

Yaa Brefo has been insensitive towards the plight of the other driver who lost his child in the accident . Does Yaa Brefo have a child of her to sympathize with a father who broke a leg and carrying his deceased child in his arms? As per eyewitness account, LiWin was the cause of the accident so why will Yaa Brefo criticize a father who lost a child through the negligent of LiWin.
Driving with a child in the front seat without a seat belt is no right but that alone did not cause the death of the child.

Kwasiato!! the kid was thrown to the front from the impact. In any case, seat belt or not, do you know the kid could have still died from the impact of the overspeeding vehicle your idol was driving??

Not that many in Ghana bother to read the highway code and related regulations regarding the use of the road and the proper use of cars. Where was that clown speeding to in the first place? Do Ghanaians who use the road, predestians included know what the rules are on the use of roads. What side of the road should you be on at any given time? But then again, as a driver on the road, you must be considerate, less careless and less reckless. If you cause an accident, you will have to prove that you were considerate, carefull and not reckless. The onerous is also on other road users to adhere to the rules. A 3-year old child should under no circumstances be seated in a front seat. Even in the back seat, he/she should be belted and that is the responsibility of the driver of the vehicle.
Deepest condolences to the family of the deceased.
