  I paid 2k each for my daughter and wife's passport. I got the passports within 3 weeks because their photos and other details was captured the same day we went to passport. Normal process takes 1 to 2 years.

  When the official fee was 50GHc, somebody I know paid 400GHc to an agent to get him a passport. There was still no passport after 4 months. I asked him if he wanted to travel and he said no. He just wanted a passport.

  Nana Yaa is ignorant paaa... The goro boys are working in tandem with the passport officials. They deliberately sit on the applications and then direct u to go n see the goro boys if u want ur Application worked on!!! Without passing through a goro boy, ur Application will take A WHOLE YEAR!!! Each official at the PASSPORT office has a goro boy outside who hangs around the offices and approach u to expedite things for u. The moment u agree, u will jump several queues and get ur picture taken SAME DAY. If u don't, ur picture will be taken in 3months!!! THOSE OFFICIALS SHOULD BE CHANGED IF WE CAN HAVE ANY CHANCE OF A SMOOTH APPLICATION. THEY ARE LIVING FAT ON US THROUGH THE GORO BOYS. It's sickening!!!
