Soviet Russia and Soviet Union did not dredge the sea from St. Petersburg to Moscow, but what she did was the widden all the rivers in Russia and connect them with ships moving from one river to another.
Even when there is no connection by water to a river a special train made for ships entre the river, drive on land and drop the ship in the next river.
We can dredge the Lake Bosumtwi and connect water from the Volta Lake to Kumasi, but to dredge the sea to Kumasi is a fantasy.

Nkrumah did not just tell the people of Ghana that he was going to build a dam, he also stated how the dam would be financed, and he had engneers and other experts to conduct studies that convinced him that the project would succeed. Cheddar on the other hand has told Ghanaians about his sea project, and states that he looked at maps and places like Dubai and elsewhere that had done similar projects. Don't the people of Ghana deserve to be told how the proposed sea project will be funded, and whether Cheddar has engaged any engineers and other experts to conduct some faesibility studies for him to determine how that project might impact areas in the path of the proposed sea? Ghanaians are not refusing to think just because they demand answers from a politician making promises.
