I agree Onyame Ehu Wo was released around 1992 I believe and Nyatse Nyatse was no where around 1981. That song is from the late 80s, most likely around 1989. This is misleading information from this article.

I am saddened by the passing of K.K. Kabobo. I never even heard he was sick... Wow! A stark reminder of 'man's' mortality. He was a great person and a great Musician! I wouldn't be the first to say it.

I am saddened by the passing of K.K. Kabobo. I never even heard he was sick... Wow! A stark reminder of 'man's' mortality. He was a great person and a great Musician! I wouldn't be the first to say it.
My personal encounter with him was after a show in Tema in the 1990s. I was a member of the Adehyeman band of the then NFED, a world bank project. After the show, I sat on a bench outside the venue to blow off steam. Without warning, he wrapped his arms around my shoulders and said, "Well done...", perched on the higher end of the bench. I do not intend to make this about me, but I must say that his words were encouraging. It'was at a time his popularity had waned... nonetheless, I was encouraged. Rest In Peace, Maestro. I wish I were around in Ghana to make your transition a lot more peaceful. Others may have already done that as the story demonstrates. Rest In Peace, K.K.. Till we meet again in "Asamando" and "Beyond".
