  Hollywood and Broadway enjoy some of the best success in the movie and play business, and many of the writers very often are men writing for female characters or producing female characters. Your call for more inclusivity in the area of writing and production is a good call, but your claim that male creatives can't write female characters is isn't factual. There's a need for more female writers and producers in the Ghana movie industry, but that has nothing to do with men writing or producing female characters. The change will come quicker if there's more mentoring of aspiring female writers and producers by the production companies and writers guild. It takes creative minds to write and produce, and that should have nothing to do with one's gender, and both men and women possess these creative minds and can certainly welcome more women into the fold. And successful writers often consult with others to ensure that their writings are in tune with the gender of their characters.

  Really..May be in Ghana..Tyler Perry a male creative writes good scripts with “female characters “..Madea, dairy of a mad black woman, meet the browns etc.
