GHANA'S UNDER-20 team are due in Berlin this week for a match with their German counterparts in the run-up to the World Youth Cup in Argentina.

The Black Satellites, as they are affectionately known, are expected to be bolstered by some of their foreign-based players, namely Razak Ibrahim, Anthony Obodai, Frank Wietner, Derek Boateng, Michael Essien and Matthew Amoah.

As a further part of their preparations for Argentina, they managed to hold the senior national team to a 1-1 draw on Friday, before The Satellites defeated club side Liberty Professional 2-1 on Sunday.

They are expected to play Asante Kotoko on Wednesday at the Kumasi Sports Stadium before they board their flight for Germany.

Players likely to miss out of the German tour are Ishamel Addo, Stephen Tetteh, Charles Taylor and Stephen Oduro.
