A spirited last-minute performance by the Porcupine Warriors, Kumasi Asante Kotoko saw them come from behind to snatch the three maximum points from Dansoman based-Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports Stadium this afternoon.

After being outplayed in the first half by the scientific soccer lads,having conceded an early goal through Liberty's g;obe trotting, Asamoah Gyan, Kotoko came strongly in the second half to snatch a win through strikers Frank Osei(66) and Nana Arhin Duah(92nd).

Liberty's Asamoah Gyan was the MVP.

Veteran Frank Amankwah featured for Kotoko.

In another encounter at the Kumasi Sports Stadium,no-nonsense King Faisals beat Accra Hearts Of Oak by a lone-goal, courtesy an 87th minute goal by Joe Agyemang.

King Faisal's skipper, Hamza Mohammed won the Most Valuable Player award
