Shatta Wale said his fans should feel free to smoke and not be afraid of the Ghana Police. “Everybody should smoke the ganja; Ghana Police cannot do you anything,” the self-acclaimed dancehall king shouted.

The controversial hit maker made these comments when he mounted the S-Concert stage to perform last Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

An overly-excited Shata Wale whose name was being chanted by the massive crowd told his fans he has never been arrested by the Police for smoking contrary to reports.

Therefore, his fans are at liberty to smoke without being afraid of any apprehension by the Police.

The ‘Taking Over’ hit maker also debunked allegations that he had been arrested by the Police for firing a gun in public.

He stated that such report is a lie told by people about him. He added that when he decides to respond to such reports, people say he is a bad guy when he is not.

Shatta Wale took a swipe at bloggers who according to him, have impressed on the police to arrest him. He indicated that the Ghana Police are not foolish like them [the bloggers] and so they can never arrest him for they are his friends.

“Even on my way here, the Ghana Police guarded me; they are not foolish like you to arrest me. Shout out to the police,” Shatta Wale boasted.

The Ghana Dancehall king further said his aim is to always make his fans happy despite the fake stories his ‘haters’ make about him.

“Sometimes I just want to make you people happy. People tag me as a bad person; they want my downfall.” “But they will see that I continue to rise; that I continue to grow tall,” he said.
