The Silverbird Cinemas will join the world to premiere the highly anticipated blockbuster movie franchise, X-Men: Days of Future Past, on May 23.
The movie directed by Bryan Singer starring Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman among others is promised to surpass the previous X-Men movies released since 2000. The writers and director succeeded in mixing the past and future X-Men in this movie with better effects and plot.
In this movie, Wolverine would take a dangerous trip back to the past to meet the younger Charles Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto) and Mystique also known as Raven, to be able to defeat an army of indestructible adversaries that were seen to wipe out mutants.
Silverbird would spice up the premiere courtesy international airbrush artist Ram Ankh by introducing in Ghana for the first time, Wolverine himself and Mystique the blue girl at the Cinemas for photo opportunities.
The premiere would witness a celebrity red carpet for stars from the movie and music industry, VIP Cocktails, with free giveaways from sponsors. It shows at 6pm at both the Accra Mall and Weija Cinemas.
Spoiler
New characters are featured in the movie, including Bishop and Quicksilver.
Bishop or Lucas Bishop is a mutant from the future who can absorb energy from his attacker and use it for his own advantage.
Quicksilver, meanwhile, is the son of Magneto who has the ability to move at supersonic speed. In the movie, he will help Wolverine and the gang of younger Professor X and Beast in saving Magneto from detention.
The movie is a reunion of sorts of the original cast, who probably would be appearing in the next X-Men movie.
