Rise and kick Obour out of office - Nana Tabiri to musicians

Old time High-life musician Nana Tabri known by his popular song ‘’sino akon kon’’ has descended heavily on current administration of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) saying its President, Bice Osei Kuffour lack enough competence to manage the affairs of MUSIGA.

The ace musician who sounded worried about the current state of the music industry in an interview on E-zone on Ashh fm, that the elders of the Union have been unimportant to Obour and his cohorts; who are rather inexperienced, heartless and do not have the welfare of the entire musicians at heart.

Nana Tabri also hinted that Obour has failed to involve elders of the industry in their decision-making process, and strained that “the sources of the problems facing the Ghanaian musician today is bad leadership been experienced by Obour.’’

The hot –heated musician who couldn’t hide his feelings on the program described Obour as a wrong choice for MUSIGA presidency.
He added that Obour has created more harm to the Union than good “and most of the musicians are not happy with him.”

He continued that “the sad news is that musicians in Ghana today have no idea what they are due, several donations is said to have been to musicians’ fund and nobody knows how much and how those monies have been disbursed.”

He called on his colleagues musicians to rise up and kick Obour out from the seat of MUSIGA.
