Stephen Creppy Stephen Creppy

Regular pundit on popular radio program, Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM and manager of sensational musician, Raquel has commented on the ongoing brouhaha between the Nzema youth and the Minister For Tourism, Arts and Culture.

According to Creppy, the Nzema language is not melodic.

He advised that, in order to gain nationwide awareness and acceptance, musicians within the region needed to put in a lot more efforts and investment.

“Their language is not very melodic, they need more work”, he told Sammy Flex, host of the show.

Following the announcement of musicians like Kidi, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Wisa and several others to perform at this year’s Axim Beach Festival, during the Kundum festivities, the youth are enraged, because they are of the view that their indigenous artistes have been neglected.

In a bid to gain nationwide recognition, acceptance, and patronage for their style of music, artistes and DJ’s in Nzema demand that, they are given an equal chance to perform on the night.

However, according to Creppy, more effort needs to be made to enhance their industry, before breaking through to other parts of the country and eventually, worldwide.
