Metro-TV Gets Rights For English Premier League Matches

Accra, (Greater Accra) 17 Oct.,

Metropolitan Entertainment Television (Metro TV) today signed an agreement with Shoot Media, a Ghanaian owned Sports Syndication Company, for exclusive right to show English Premier football league matches on Metro TV. Mr. Talal Fatal, Managing Director of Metro TV and Mr. Kofi Boohene of Shoot Media signed for their respective companies. Mr. Fatal said the matches would not be shown live but will be telecast a week or 10 days after play. He said some matches in the German league would also be shown on Metro TV which starts transmission early next month.
