NiiSoul: Some churches shunned me

Former Afropop singer turned gospel musician; NiiSoul has called on gospel event organisers and the entire gospel music industry to stop acting hostile to artistes and players within the secular music scene because they are not in competition.

NiiSoul believes some in the gospel industry treat circular musicians as outcasts making it difficult for gospel artistes with affiliations in the secular music industry to be part of secular musical events.

He added that what the gospel Industry stands for should rather be targeted at people outside the gospel industry to draw them unto Christ.

Revealing more about his transition from secular music to gospel music, NiiSoul said he has received mixed reactions from especially fans of gospel music, however stated that he is now being accepted by many.

He also stated that he is enjoying the current type of music he makes.
