Lord Paper Lord Paper

The 26-year-old musician Michael Takyi Frimpong alias Lord Paper whose music video circulating on social media has generated public debate says the video rated adult only is not real.

The ‘Awurama’ music video shows the musician naked having sex with a lady amidst hot romance.

He debunked claims that he indeed had sex in the video, saying the only thing real is the kissing.

Youtube officials pulled down the video after it received complaints from their viewers.

But speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Entertainment Show hosted by Austin Woode, he explained that the video is camera tricks and not real sex as speculated by section of the public.

According to him, if he knew the video would generate backlash, he would have censored it before releasing it.

He indicated that his girlfriend who is based outside the country was aware of the making of the video and that the lady in the video Nana Yaa was employed and paid for her services.

‘She is a video victim, I like her looks, I talked to couple of girls who were willing to do but I chose her,’ the rapper explained.

He admitted that he has released over ten songs, but this one has been a hit, saying he was portraying real love making.

‘I agreed with my management to release the video, I only portrayed exactly what love making is in the music, the video is rated adult only, it’s a love song, making love with my loved one, I intended to portray exactly that, I didn’t want to hide things, wanted it to look real, but everything in the video is not real, nothing is real, just that we had to make it looked real, we all have different ways of doing things, I didn’t know it will go this far, I don’t know the one who downloaded it from YouTube to twitter and other social media,’ he explained.

Asked if he is worried about the public backlash, he explained ‘people have different opinions on issues, in Ghanaian society we don’t really accept these kinds of things, I know but its art, its music, I wanted to portray something real’.

He said his mother is not happy with the video but has explained things to her.
