Ghanaian singer and songwriter Akwaboah has described his marriage as fulfilling, encouraging others not to shy away from the commitment.

He emphasised that marriage, when approached with love and understanding, can be a source of joy and stability.

Speaking in a recent interview on Pulse Ghana, the musician stated that while social media often highlights the negative aspects of marriage, there are many positive sides that people tend to overlook.

“My marriage life is a good one. I keep telling people that sometimes you see some posts on social media talking about the negatives in marriages, but there are also positives in marriage that you don’t have to be scared of getting into,” he said.

Modern relationships lack patience and depth – Akwaboah

According to him, the right choice of partner is key to enjoying a successful marriage.

“You just need to know who you’re with, find your best friend, and make a strong choice. If you want to go because you’re looking at what they have, in terms of beauty or money, that’s the biggest mistake you would ever make,” he noted.

Akwaboah further cautioned against entering marriage solely on physical appearance or financial status.

“Beauty fades, and with money, you can even lose your job. But for me, so far so good,” he added.
