My WMT song is an inspirational and empowering song for women – Sista Afia

Musician Sista Afia has backtracked on content of her latest song titled WMT which sought to diss colleagues in the industry.

The song is a rap song; a complete deviation from what we have over the years known her for.

In the song, Sista Afia addresses various issues in the entertainment industry.

She spoke extensively on the various activities undertaken by celebrities in the country and the need for change in their lifestyles.

Sista Afia touched on Deborah Vanessa’s move to record diss songs because her ex, Medikal does not give her the attention she seeks.

But in a different video MyNewsGh.com spotted on social media, the artiste is seen saying she never directed her new song to any of the ladies being mentioned by Ghanaians.

To her, the song is about empowering women to speak up and not an attack on others' personalities.

Sista Afia said the title WMT is not vulgar but stands for Women Must Talk.
