Miss Malaika @ 10 Delegates to Spend 1 week in Namiba & South Africa

The miss malaika@10 competition so far has seen the delegates perform interesting and amazing task. One interesting task was the cultural night which saw the delegates dressed in Ghanaian traditional wear representing the cultural backgrounds. It was educating as well as entertaining; the public got to know where these delegates come from and how well they know their culture because culture gives identity.

Another interesting task was the cooking challenge, where the delegates had to prepare different dishes for orphans. One would think these pretty delegates may not know how to cook but they proved the general public wrong when they prepared tantalizing meals for these children.

Every week the public has seen the delegates perform one task after the other; it has been very stressful and challenging for these delegates especially having to step out of one’s comfort zone and be daring enough to try something new.

It’s time to for the delegates to let their hair down and distress every year the Miss Malaika delegates take a trip to any of the African countries; this year is no exception and as Miss Malaika is in its tenth year anniversary, there is an exciting twist to the trip which is sponsored by Air Namibia.

The twist to this year’s trip is that the delegates will be visiting two African countries instead of one. Past delegates of Miss Malaika have over the years been to South Africa, Dubai and Egypt but this year’s delegates will be visiting Namibia and South Africa, the delegates are scheduled to leave Ghana this Friday and return next week Friday.

Whiles in Namibia and South Africa the delegates will visit popular tourist sites in a bid to learn more about their culture and also share that of Ghanaian culture also. The delegates will be in the dessert of Namibia for a survival challenge.

The delegates are so much looking forward to the trip as most of them will be traveling for the first time outside Ghana and as yet to be ambassadors for malaria and their personal projects, it is important they know how to embrace different culture and also know how best to sell the Ghanaian Culture.

The trip is one of the prize packages for the ten finalists which has been the norm of the Miss Malaika pageant since its inception. Most delegates may say they only compete for the Crown, Car and Cash but another exciting side of the competition is the all-expense paid trip they enjoy.

The delegates will however perform a fashion show task where they get to work with designers to create their own fashion trends. Don’t forget to catch all the excitements and see the creative sides of the delegates come this Sunday on GHOne television at 8pm and also watch out for the Malaika diaries because the next time you see the delegates on your screens it will be from desert of Namibia and Cape Town.

Viewers are to power their favorites to victory by texting her name to 1757 across all networks. The delegate with the highest votes gets an automatic top 5 spot at the grand finale and one step away from winning the 3C’s that’s the crown, car and the cash on October 27th.
