Mylik gets to the semis

Accra, Dec 18, GNA- The Mylik Classic Under-19 Soccer Tournament has reached the semi finals stage after the final group matches were cleared at the Accra and Kumasi Sports Stadia on Thursday. Four teams, Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy, Bendu FC from Gomoa Buduburam, Young Kotoko and Transworld Academy both from Kumasi, have gained entry into the zone.

Feyenoord and Bendu FC, qualified from Group A, while Young Kotoko and Transworld Academy gained their tickets from Group B. According to the pairings, Feyenord who topped group A, with six points by beating Bendu FC and Auroras the junior side of Accra Hearts of Oak before losing to Mighty Jets, would now lock horns with Tarnsworld Academy who placed second in group B.

Bendu FC who qualified from a slim goal margin over Jets in Group A would now take on defending champions Young Kotoko in the semi finals. The semi final matches are to be played on Saturday at the Kumasi Sports Stadium as well as the third place match and the grand finale, which would also be played on Sunday.
