UCC to host 18th edition of university games

Cape Coast Jan. 14, GNA - University of Cape Coast (UCC) will host the 18th edition of Ghana University Students Association (GUSA) games, slated from January 21 to January 30.

A release issued from the office of the UCC's sports coach on Wednesday, said disciplines to be competed for will include athletics, soccer, lawn and table tennis, handball, basketball and badminton. About 1,500 sportsmen and women from the nation's five universities are expected to participate in the games.

They are UCC, University of Ghana, Legon, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), University of Education, Winneba, and the University for Development Studies (UDS).
