Okyeame Akuffo is dead

The death was reported on 18 April 1995 of Okyeame Boafo Akuffo, a retired State Linguist, at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

Okyeame Akuffo was made a State Linguist by the later President Nkrumah in the early 1960s. Okyeame Akuffo was a Research Fellow of the Dept of Linguistics, University of Ghana, Legon in the mid 1970s.
