Ghanaian musician and “16 Years” hitmaker, Mzbel, has made another bold statement about relationships, revealing that she does not believe in love.
Speaking in an interview with Zionfelix monitored by GhanaWeb on June 5, 2026, Mzbel stated that, in her view, love is a scam.
According to the seasoned musician, relationships should not be built on the idea of love but rather on attraction and how people make each other feel.
“I go into a relationship because I am attracted to the person, but I don’t believe in love. Love is a scam. I believe attraction is about how you make me feel. So, if I meet you and you make me feel good, I can fall for you.

“If we go on a date and we both want sex, I don’t mind having it with you,” she said.
Mzbel further noted that she does not hesitate to walk away from relationships when a partner begins imposing restrictions or making demands she disagrees with.
According to her, relationships should not become controlling, and she prefers to keep her personal life private.

“But when you start making certain demands, like telling me that because I’m in a relationship, I shouldn’t speak to certain people, I will cancel your name.
“I will tell you that we are no longer together. I can leave a relationship without making it dramatic. Also, when I am in a relationship, no one has to know because if you publicly come out to say you are dating me, I will deny it,” she added.
