I didn't insult Mahama - Afia Schwarzenegger explains

Afia Schwarzenegger Afia Schwarzenegger

Afia Schwarzenegger is back, the controversial radio host in a short video that surfaced online Tuesday after has the comedienne involved in a heated exchange with a cleaner at the Accra International Conference Centre washroom.

Afia is heard in the video saying;

‘We paid for this stupid facility, f**k John Mahama, F**k my dirty p***y’.

Few hours after the video went viral, the Mid-Morning radio host took to her instagram page to clear the air on the whole issue.

She posted;

“I really don't know what this gay couple ( That's editor of the platform that first published the video) wants from me but please help me tell them that my love for John Mahama is not politically motivated.

I stated my likeness before he became the president and the whole nation is aware, to my dear Ghanaians that can't take a joke; the 1st lady knows that am not doing anything with her hubby...The statement in his so called video is my reaction to someone's insult on me… "I was repeating what the guy said… I wasn't alone so for further details he can contact @1only_princess for the full video...”

Few hours later, Afia returned on her Facebook page with a selfie-video to explain further to Ghanaians as to what happened.

“Friends Family and Fellow Ghanaians, before I continue, it’s with a very saddened heart that I post this message. Before I continue, I will like to apologize to the first gentleman of the land; His Excellency John Dramani Mahama and plead and apologize on behalf of the perpetrators of this mischief.

This video was made by.... Ghana, I believe by editing an event that stretched over thirty minutes, involving a cleaner at Accra International Conference Centre during a show that was dubbed Ghana Meets Naija.

My friend and I patronized the event and during the show we sort to use the bathroom. Upon arriving at the bathroom, my friend got upset; it was regard to filth which ended up with a confrontation between my friend and the cleaner. My friends, my offense, my sin, crime was to tell the cleaner to let go and stop the confrontation with my friend which at this point in time I strongly believe it was premeditated.

The cleaner with no insults, no provocation whatsoever started hurling insults at me, hurling insults at the president of this country. Calling the president, my president, the president elect, and making statements that I repeated. And it’s in this repetition of what he said that really angered me that was recorded and played back. Fifteen seconds of that. What you hear in the video is me quoting, throwing the cleaners filthy words back at him. Saying ‘how dare you’ but it’s unfortunate I didn’t record the video.

Fifteen seconds of that event was posted online and it suggests I rain insults at the president, my president, my John Drammani Mahama and using words that are unpalatable to say the least implying all sorts of false information involving the president.”

According to her instagram post, her friend @1Only_Princess known as Maureen Manu has the full video. Miss Maureen, can you help a sister out?
