Ashanti Gold suffered their heaviest defeat in the Ghana Premier League so far this season after losing 6-1 to WAFA in Sogakope. A brace from Konadu Yiadom and a goal each from Haruna Jalilu Mola, Daniel Owusu and Ibrahim Abukari gave the Academy lads a resounding victory at home. Amos Kofi Nkrumah scored the consolation goal for Ashanti Gold.

Inter Allies maintained their impressive away run as they held Ebusua Dwarfs to a goalless stalemate at the Cape Coast Sport Stadium.

Hearts of Oak missed a chance to secure full points at home after drawing 1-1 with Elmina Sharks at the Accra Sports Stadium. Denis Mensah and Kofi Kordzi were on target for Elmina Sharks and Hearts respectively.

Two goals from Stephen Amankona and a goal each by Jordan Opoku and Jonas Attuquaye aided Berekum Chelsea to a 4-2 win over King Faisal at the Golden City Park, Ibrahim Osman increased his goal tally by scoring twice for King Faisal.

Starman Elvis Kyei Baffour scored the only goal in Liberty Proffessional’s victory over Karela United at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman.
