Ghanaian Legend Kojo Antwi says colleague musician Daddy Lumba cannot be compared to him because he is better.
In an interview with DJ Black on JOY FM, Antwi claims his exploits puts him miles ahead of Lumba.
“Daddy is a great musician, he’s inspired me a lot, we were meant to be here at this time but for me I think, if you listen to what I do, the kind of shows I do and the rest,” explains the ‘Dadie Anoma‘ crooner.
“I think when it comes to comparison, I’m not saying Daddy Lumba doesn’t deserve to be there, but I think my target as being with the Angélique Kidjo, Salif Keita, Youssou N’Dour, [I am way up]. If you don’t achieve that, you will fall in between.”
He adds that the debate on who is better should have been discussed ten years ago not now.
Antwi has two KORA awards, and a Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards nomination to his credit. He has won several Ghana Music Awards plaques also.
He is currently the Chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO),
