Asantewaa is first to be evicted from Stars of the Future season five

AFTER the brilliant performances put up by all twelve contestants of Stars of the future season five reality show last Thursday night at the National Theater, many were those who patiently waited to know which contestant will be the first to be eliminated. On the night of the first eviction, all twelve contestants appeared in a state of panic and anxiety. It was obviously an unenviable position one will not appreciated as they fearfully prayed to get them pass that stage. Asantewaa who performed ‘Poison’ originally sung by Beyonce at the first performance night was the unfortunate contestant who got kicked out on the night. That marked the end of the road for her. However, Kwame won the Golden Moment Awards which is supposed to reward the best performer for the week. For his prize, he had a cash prize of One hundred Ghana cedis (GHC 100) and also was exempted from the week’s eviction. The competition continues with the second performance at the National Theater on Thursday 24 th March, 2011. The show commences at 7PM and admission is free!
