Asamoah Gyan smiles at last! Welcomes baby girl

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan can finally afford to smile after weeks of uncertainty and sorrow following Ghana's mediocre performance at the just ended FIFA World Cup- Brazil 2014, and the disappearance of his best friend, Castro, during a holiday in Ada.

According to Allsports.com.gh the striker yesterday, July 18, 2014 welcomed a new bouncy baby girl.

Gyan who has kept his family life very private, is already the father of three sons with his partner, and the newest addition was received with “joy and celebration in a time of darkness,” a family source revealed.

“Babies are the best gift in life, she’ll fill my heart with oodles of love and joy since the past days have been bizarre, praises be to God.” Asamoah Gyan added.

The site revealed that Asamoah Gyan already has three sons to his name: Frederick, the eldest, Floyd and Rafael.

A lot of soccer fans will be surprised that the publicly ebullient Gyan have been married for almost half a decade.

He is rarely seen with his wife or children in public and he refrains from speaking about them or being photographed with them in public.

Asamoah have been devastated for the past 11 days after Castro's mysterious disappearance in Ada where they went for a weekend getaway with his brother Baffour Gyan and others.

Theophilus Tagoe, known in showbiz cycles as “Castro De Destroyer” and Janet Bandu of “I am in Love with Bomaye” fame went “Missing” on Sunday July 6, when they went jet skiing on the Ada-Volta estuary.

The two are suspected to have drowned after a Jet Ski accident on the Volta Lake in Ada. But Baby Jet together with families of the two, music lovers and friends are keeping hope alive.
