SOURCE: CLASSFMONLINE ------ The Government of Ghana is reviewing the debts incurred by the John Mahama administration to find out whether the loans were used for the purposes of which they were contracted, Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Marfo, has revealed. After the review of the debt situation, the findings will be made public to enable the Ghanaian people realise how their moneys were spent by the previous administration, Mr Marfo added. It is recalled that during the electioneering season the then main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) accused the Mahama government of excessive borrowing but with little to show for, an assertion the then governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) rubbished because they thought they had embarked on several infrastructural projects with those loans. Mr Marfo speaking during the National Policy Summit on Tuesday May 16 said revealed that the new government is investigating all the debts left behind by Mr Mahama. “We are working on the numbers, the ministry of finance gives us the bulk numbers. But they do not all emanate from one source, we have some sitting in energy, some sitting in SSNIT and we are examining all. As a government and we are doing it gradually and slowly because we must be accurate. “We want to be sure that whatever comes out finally is accurate. The government owes it as a duty to keep the nation informed about these debts and what it was used for.”

Amidu is right in some sense but he should know better. You dont always need evidence to convict. People are sometimes convicted without any shred of evidence. The police must do a good work. Ghana police are lazy to the core. The Ndc has every right to disagree with the decision just as you Amidu has a right to disagree with the minority in parliament. These issues will only stop when we have independent AG and IGP. As long as these offices are political appointments our judicial and police service will continue to suffer and we the innocent citizens will pay the price. God save Ghana.

How did portuphy become a Nadmo chief? Did he not chase people out and took over himself? How many times did ndc foot soldiers sack people from their office and locked offices without police apprehensions? Honestly ndc does not merit to accuse NPP of such nonsense? Who cares abt ndc? Their brains are synonymous with their tongues. We don't need communist propaganda to fool Ghanaians again oo. Just wait and see how a nation is governed. The delta 8 did not assault that guy, they only made noise in his office that they didn't want him. Does that warrant arrest. In fact looking at the video, the police rather manhandled the guy pushing him down the stairs. At the court, they ran to save their lives when pandemonium broke and came back later, even in the military, u take cover in such situations to prepare for reaction. Give us break ndc!! The delta 13 I can say has an issue of causing that chaos in the court buh not the delta 8. When shall ndc morons learn??

Only Stomach politicians like Amidu can speak this way. When Amidu was a depty AG he stayed at the Nkrumah flat at Latebiokorshie Bungalow 1. He was unable to control and take care of his own son. I do not want to reveal what happened to his son under his watch. In addition he always run away from his reponsibilities but moving his car to my garage. I always blocked him when he comes to move the car in tge night and on a number of occassions we quarrelled. When did become a hard worker and a citizen vigilante. These are all pretences. His pride made him declare himself shadow vice president u remember after the ndc lost the election when prof mills made him his running mate. He is not a credidle person
