We it turns out that their transmission software was actually a hack to massage the polling station results to obtain their desired outcome irrespective of how the Ghanaian population actually voted. That is why they were so bold in their statement of 1 Million votes in Asante Region. But God being so good their plans failed and our true votes became the rule of the day.

NDC tell your communicator to stop the lies. I guess you don't want to learn from your arrogance and lies. Before her declaration though the country was left on tenterhooks as the EC went completely silent 12 hours after elections with no confirmed or provisional results.
Even when the two leading political parties were claiming victories from results of the same election, the EC was still quiet.
It was the NDC that first issued a statement at about 0100 hrs claiming to be in a commanding lead and assured its supporters to remain calm.
The NPP reacted at about 0130 hrs with a press conference claiming to be victors with 54% (not 64%) on 80% of parallel collation of pink sheets from polling stations and asking the incumbent president to concede.
Hours after that tensed drama from the political parties, the EC chair Charlotte Osei broke her silence, not with figures from the elections but with an excuse that their systems had been compromised for which reason she could not continue with the electronic transmission of the results.
She did not explain what may have caused the compromise, except to add, they would rather rely on the manual process of results transmission.
Koku Anyidoho and the NDC then started with their lies as usual.
1. 64% - According to him Mac-Manu of NPP said they have won by 64%. This is absolute false.
2. Both NDC and EC cannot tell the world as to the exact type of hacking of the EC computerised system. But Koku Anyidoho will like to spew lies and put the blame of his political opponents.
NDC party executives should please learn to tell the truth they should desist from putting sand into our eyes because Ghanaians are no fools.

Veteran US Congressman Chaka Fatah has been sentenced to 10 years in prison over charges including racketeering, bribery, money laundering and fraud. The 60-year-old Democratic Congressman represented the state of Pennsylvania for 22 years, and was one of Congress' most senior black lawmakers. The penalty was handed down by a federal judge in Philadelphia, the city that he represented until June 2016. Fatah vowed to appeal the conviction. He will report to prison next month. During sentencing Fatah told US District Judge Harvey Bartle that he had "helped tens of millions of people" during his 37-year political career. Calling his crimes "astonishing", given that Fatah and his TV anchor wife already had a $500,000 annual income, the judge handed down the second-longest prison sentence ever given to a US congressman for corruption.
