There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.

It's not in the constitution of any party in Ghana that after four or eight year mandate of the president his vice automatically becomes the next presidential candidate. So for John Mahamah to go about with the drivel that NPP did not allow Aliu Mahamah to succeed John Kuffuor shows the president as a fool or very much uninformed. Which is an insult to the sensibilities of Ghanaians.

Kuffour as a person was a unifier. In marked contrast Akkufo Addo for all his pretence as a man of God, he has armed security detail and perhaps a private militia waiting to cause mayhem.
Akuffo Addo was demoted from Attorney General to Foreign Minister, and the legacy he left was missing diplomatic passports and $3m of State funds unaccounted for.
He has blown his inheritance and is looking for an opportunity to replenish empty coffers.

Nana Addo's refusal to accept defeat at elections is also a big minus compared to the Gentle Giant of Ghana's politics. This would also weigh heavily on the readiness o his opponents to cooperate with him should he become president, the alternative is dictatorship which he is already showing gleams of.

No disrespect to Nana Akufo-Addo but he is too old and lacks critical ideas to the development of Ghana and for that matter, Africa as a continent. The world is advancing with information technology and Africa must catch up as quickly as possible. This means that Ghana or Africa needs young and vibrant leaders with fresh ideologies to unite and form stronger ties among the people in other to combat diseases and security issues facing the continent.
Nana Akufo-Addo's character and chastisement infused with a 1st and 2nd world war mentality would harm Ghana so badly that it will retrogress everything Dr Kwame Nkrumah and all those great African leaders fought for.
A great leader needs to be seen inspiring, motivating, educating and helping the people to better their lives and not inciting hate and dividing the people with bunch of lies in the name of politics. Considering Nana Akufo-Addo's age one would think that he would come up with strategic plans to better the lives of the old in society and strengthen the pension scheme but he has never ever mention the word pension nor even scheme.
Leadership is action infused with positive results and Nana Akufo-Addo lacks credibility to be a leader for Ghana and for that matter Africa. Ghana be wise and vote for a young and a vibrant leader with a great integrity to bring strategic development for all Africans.
I pray for mentality change and long live for Ghana. May GOD bless us all!

Because he questioned the malpractices he saw in the party's administration under Akufo Addo's leasership. I doubt seriously if Akufo Addo can manage the affairs of Ghana when he has not passed the test of his party's management. At least President Kufuor held his party together and managed to rule Ghana for the longest duration than any other in Daquan-Busia-Dumbo party alliance and sub clans inclusive.
