They were only interested in prestigious signature projects for enjoyment of few ruling elites regardless of whether the inflated projects were priorities and value for money or not. I wonder how they could account for the $40 billion they've borrowed so far to land this country in HIPIC again. Did the insensitive NDC government think, despite the massive corruption, they could borrow recklessly and spend their way foolishly into another mandate in 2016, even if the nation is over burdened with HIPC and workers wallow in hunger and over taxed?

It is the leadership of Charlotte Osei that seems to to be in tatters. These recent legal set backs are rooted in her inexperience , arrogance and ignorance. We all cheered when she was selected as the first female to hold this EC leadership post. In hindsight it looks like a wrong choice of leadership. A more experienced jurist or civil servant would have been ideal. This is not a job for ametures and it points to the presidency's competency in appointments.
Charlotte Osei and the EC should get out of court, settle with all the disqualified aspirants and focus on the real task at hand for December 7.
She and the commission must also engage sharper and experienced lawyers to help them in their work. Sory Esq. is not up to the task. The short comings of the CI 94 law and that of administrative procedural omissions and confusions like nomination day and nomination period are very embarrassing. You cant violate your own laws to disqualify someone. Encouraging people to go to court when your hands are not clean is a manifestation of administrative arrogance.
Dr. Omane Boamah let's face the truth and move on.
