Its a fact that you don't dismiss or terminate the appointment of a person based on allegations.
There is a procedure that the Ministry of Education that is the employer have to pass through, meaning conforming with its Collective Agreement.
However, I could see that the teachers organization has jumped the gun and is left out of the matter since its General Secretary has already given his verdict on the issue.
It means that the General Secretary of the teachers union who should represent its member as per the rules of the Standing Joint Negotiation Committee has jumped the gun. So in this instance who is going to represent the organization.
If the matter is to be resolved between the employee and the employer the union representing the employee must be present to act on behalf of the employee. A union does not abandon its member in the mist of allegation or even if you think that his conduct is not proper.
In this matter people who are being asked to intervene should have keep their mouth shut, with the explanation that the matter is under investigation.
The Vice President He Excellency Nana Agyemang is not a witness in the case, so I don't see why people have asked for her intervention when a committee has already been appointed to look into the matter.
