The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has released the official timetable for its 2026 Constituency, Regional and National Executive Elections.
In a press statement signed by the Deputy General Secretary, Madam Barbara Serwaa Asamoah, and dated Tuesday, August 5, 2026, the party said its Functional Executive Committee (FEC), at a meeting held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, directed the release of the roadmap.
According to the statement, the timetable provides a comprehensive guide for the conduct of the party’s internal elections, covering nominations, vetting, appeals, balloting and elections at all levels.
“The release of this timetable reaffirms the Party’s commitment to conducting transparent, credible, and well-organized internal elections in accordance with the Constitution of the National Democratic Congress and the approved Election Guidelines,” the statement said.
The party urged all Regional and Constituency Executives, aspirants and members to study the timetable and ensure strict adherence to all stipulated timelines, procedures and deadlines.

• Opening of nominations: Tuesday, September 15 to Thursday, September 17, 2026.

• Filing of nominations: Wednesday, September 23 and Thursday, September 24, 2026
• Vetting: Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27, 2026
• Appeals: Tuesday, September 29 to Thursday, October 1, 2026

• Opening of nominations: Tuesday, October 6 to Wednesday, October 7, 2026

The statement noted that all nominations would be submitted online via forms.ghanandc.com, with hard copies to be submitted at the respective Constituency, Regional or National offices.
The NDC expressed appreciation to its members for their dedication and said it remained confident that “the spirit of unity and collective purpose that has characterised our reorganisation process will continue to strengthen the Party as we prepare to secure an emphatic victory in the 2028 General Elections.”
