They had yold lies even about the time the notice of appeal was filed with the former AG saying he was not aware, as if all court actions in ghana must come to his petsonal notice

Are they saying they have not read the judgement and the legal issues raised by the judges based upon whoch the lady was set free? And has the current AG not evinced the intention to appeal? So what else? What are they specifically demonstrating against; the government or the courts ? In any case these judges were sprouted during their time.

I believe the intent of this demonstration by the Npp is not solly against Sedina acquital but their perception that their members are witchhunted. But I'm not sure of any of their members who is really witchhunted because all those currently been investigated or tried are involved in some corruption or related scandal. Is a shame. Who are they demonstrating against, the judges that Nana Addo appointed? Or NDC government? Sometimes these people behave like madmen. They claim they are lawyers. The appeal court judges that sat on the case were appointed by Nana Addo so naturally, they may have some ‘NPP leaning’. These same judges have reviewed the case and could not find enough evidence to jail this woman. Meaning, if this woman was jailed before 2024, it would have been politically motivated rather than facts. Now NDC is in power and this woman feels she wants to appeal the decision, this means, her lawyer(s) the judges to consider the whole case and requested the prosecutor (NPP government lawyers ie formal AG) to substantiate their reason to charge her. I am sure they were not able or the documents in the AG department didnot have enough facts, but just political reasons.
This is a win for our d judicial process.
