I agree 100% with you. Both Sam George and Okudjeto Ablakwa should pull their energies together and begin to get serious with the jobs they have been given. The case in point exposes the dire need to sanitize and protect the name of Ghana in the media space - locally and internationally. Sam George in particular should understand that his minor achievement in the area of pricing with DSTV is insignificant when considered in the light of the fact that, that company is a major player in the larger terrain of global imperialist machinations, against resource-rich former colonial nations.

If some stupid Ghanaians who have got more money than brains, are ready to pay $100 (GHC1,500) or more every month, for brain-wash western oriented TV programs, so be it. It is their money and their time that they expend on it and it is nobody's Business. However if the substance of DSTVs programs appear to broadcast programs that are not healthy or productive for the psychological, social, economic and international standing of the nation, then it becomes imperative to step in and deal with the situation as fit.

Despite persistent calls by readers over the years for ghanaweb to stem the shocking - if not outrightly dangerous, anti-Moslem and sociopathic views by particular readers, ghanaweb has ignored these concerns with an inexplicable and insulting silence.

GhanaWeb has gone even further to solicit the views of all sorts of clowns and charlatans, posing as "men of God" but whose criminal forte is premised on invading the privacy of high public personalities and casting disturbing ill-omen upon them. Ghanaweb is not the only culprit but it has a digitally longer record and geographical reach abroad and this where the danger lies.

It is said that ghanaweb is owned by a foreigner with origins from an imperialist nation, so that might explain his unfeeling and insensitive attitude about the concerns of Ghanaians. Whatever the case is, ultimately, the problem falls on the table of Sam George to rescucitste and save the dignity of Ghanaians and he had better sit up and do something about it.
