The withdrawal of the NPP from the Tamale Central bye election was essentially a plea bargain for the Akwatia seat to be handed to them on a silver platter. They knew there's no way they'll win that seat. They knew they'll be badly mutilated, decimated and completely annihilated in that election hence their withdrawal. It wasn't borne out of any sympathy or respect for the departed MP.
However it will be undemocratic for the NDC to withdraw just as the NPP did. Show no mercy to the NPP. They're all a bunch of wicked and evil nation wreckers who deserve no mercy. We must ensure that their numbers dwindle until they're completely obliterated from our political landscape.

Constituents votes for individuals and not political parties . Besides independent candidate would be disadvantage . Holding election is the best way to go . Democracy is not a cheap commodity
