The withdrawal of the NPP from the Tamale Central bye election was essentially a plea bargain for the Akwatia seat to be handed to them on a silver platter. They knew there's no way they'll win that seat. They knew they'll be badly mutilated, decimated and completely annihilated in that election hence their withdrawal. It wasn't borne out of any sympathy or respect for the departed MP.
However it will be undemocratic for the NDC to withdraw just as the NPP did. Show no mercy to the NPP. They're all a bunch of wicked and evil nation wreckers who deserve no mercy. We must ensure that their numbers dwindle until they're completely obliterated from our political landscape.

Democracy is about the people's right to choose who represent them. NPP you don't shortchange the process with "we withdraw". NPP is always exhibiting their inner monkey.

I think instead of a by- Election, the party whose MP is no more shd be allowed to have an internal process to replace the outgoing MP. By- Election is for advanced democracies, we are not yet there.
