Nobody said building church for God is not good. If you made your personal promise to God, you use your personal money to do it. You waste state money to destroy state properties all in the name of building for God.

They don’t pay taxes despite robbing the poor and ignorant congregation. They don’t create jobs except taking advantage of illiterate youths. Why can’t he use same energy to build factories that will create jobs for both Muslims and Christian youths living in the north. Jesus will never forgive this man if this story is authentic. Poverty is our main problem in the north and that is the root of all conflicts and premature deaths in the north. He is a disgrace to the northerners, Muslims, other Christian denominations, traditionalise and unemployed youths.

In the north , our main problem is poverty, not religion. We have objects to bow before not a white statue. We need jobs and money , no additional religion. In the Western world, churches are even closed for factories to be built because nobody goes to church. The president should learn from Chinese , Koreans, Japanese etc. We need technology to expand production and reduce hunger. Am pure northerner and NDC card bearing member but I take shit like this because it is coming from NDC. Ghana must be developed by harnessing our hidden talents.

The size and aestetics of the church building matters and in these small communities, I believe these are miniature churches big enough to accommodate the faithfuls in the communities, so stop comparing them.

I personally know very poor people in these churches;even pastors(at lower levels than those presenting so well in their 4WDs) who struggle with the welfare of their children. The Church needs to do more than 'building posh houses for God.'
