In Ghana today as soon as a person dies all they think about is party and his properties, how many houses and cars has he got and who’s going to replace him. Nobody cares about the dead person it’s quite sad.

Parliament is part of the governance structure. Out of the discussion yesterday will be a code of conduct , guideline procedure or norm for dealing with such scenarios although the existing law is said to be explicit. The minority should avert their mind to breaking down the laws to working document for the ordinary man in the street instead of walking out at the least perturbation. All of us sat down for over 30years only to realize just now that diesel for fueling generators is not part of price build up. Shamefully some are still politicizing it when a pragmatic solution is brought forward by Mahama government.
Another one is the galamsey issue we are now at a pivotal point of declaring state of emergency. Our representatives must position themselves to provide smart legislation when required.
