Since 1957, and under Nkrumah, some sections of the economy were 24-hour for example, the military, hospitals etc and the reason is, their services are in high demand, and it has been like that since.

You cannot sell something that is not in demand and if something is in high demand, you produce more to meet the demand. That is how economy runs. Where is the "Nkoko nketenkete" that was Mahama's top campaign message? When was the last time you heard him talking about it since winning the election?
